OUR SAVE THE DATES AND MORE!!

A couple of things are new on the wedding front!! We ended up picking the friend of Jared's mom to make our wedding cake, they only do it on the side but yet their cakes are amazing!! Plus the price was like a million times more practical than the other people in town and its all homemade too. So in my opinion its a much better deal plus the cake takes amazing much better then some other wedding cakes that I have previously had, so yaaay!!! 

In other wedding news we did take our engagement pictures while we were in Vegas and from what I saw on the cameras they came out amazing Kathy and Mike our wonderful, so if you ever need to get professional photos done you better go to Brooks Photography they are so amazing!! Hopefully we will be able to get our pictures back really soon and send out our save the dates very shortly!!! I think thats about it for the updates other than us trying to get our final guest list together which is so much harder then i ever imagined but a vital necessity.

In other news though, I am very sad because Jared is going to leave me for almost a whole week next month which is very sad I can't even remember the last day that I didn't see him, it honestly has been years, so sad... maybe i'll just have to take a trip up to albuquerque and go visit stormi!!!! But it will be fun for him he'll get to see his brother so thats wonderful cuz I know he misses cliff even more than I do. So until next time everyone!!

Just an Update!!

Just wanted to check in and let you all know of other things that are happening with the wedding planning, most of the big details are set we met with the hall last week and have it confirmed as well as the church!!! And we're meeting with another cake person on either friday or saturday so hopefully we can get the cake set up and then all the big things will be set!! Im getting so excited we've almost been engaged for the same amount of time it is till our wedding and thats unreal I cant believe that!!!! 

All my lovely bridesmaids got their dresses which in my opinion are gorgeous i even want one of the dresses haha i was not a typical bride in that sense i gave my girls was amazing haha!!!! On that note i'm starting to look at what my boys will be wearing its so hard picking out what other people will be wearing when i have enough trouble picking out what i should wear on a day to day basis! Im having so much fun picking out all the little things that go with the wedding like the party favors and the centerpieces and hopefully it will become the wedding of our dreams, so far it looks like we can figure most of the things that we do want in the budget so im super happy about that!!! 

Thats all to report right now concerning the wedding, but on a fun and great note Jareds dad Kent and stepmom Dede are taking us to vegas on sunday!!! Which im super excited about i have been so super stressed lately and it will be so much fun to just get away and let loose a little bit!! And keep your fingers and legs crossed for us and maybe we will win some kind of jackpot!!! WOHOO VEGAS HERE WE COME!!!

My First Blog!!

Well first of all I want to say that i am very excited to start a blog the year that I am planning my wedding it should be a fun and exciting year!! I am engaged to my wonderful fiance Jared who is so crazy to put up with me and all my antics but Im glad he does. And I can not wait for our wedding which is going to be October 10, 2009!! Wohoo!! We are going to have so many people there it will be fun and we have a wonderful wedding party to help us celebrate!! 

First my maid of honor is one of my very best friends from high school her name is DIANA or princess di as she'd rather be called!! Diana is the one friend that no matter how long we go in between talks we pick up right where we started. And she has been there for me at 3 in the morning if i needed her and for that i will always be grateful! Then my LOVE miss STORMI who is my crazy wacky lovable hallmark friend, who is someone that I truly believe God made me meet at the right time in order to help me become a better person. Then my two sisters from our wonderful family of friends the older sister who always either got me into trouble or saved me, Nicky. I was a bridesmaid in her LAS VEGAS wedding and have never been so honored to be apart of something so special. And last but certainly not least my way to beautiful younger sis Danielle who is just way too silly even for me. Which is exactly why I love her so much, I know if I'm with her a blast is on the way. And I have always, and will always watch out for her just as if she was my actual little sister!

Our groomsmen I have to say are the craziest and sweetest men ever and I love them all in their own individual ways. Jared's best man is his wonderful brother Cliff. Who since the day I meet him, I have always thought of him as my lovable dorky big brother, even though he is only 2 months older than me. Then we have my wonderful brother Michael, who kept me totally sane growing up. I love the kid like crazy he is the best little brother a girl could ask for, he would do anything for anyone, especially me. Plus, the kid loves Jared and can't wait to have a brother-in-law. Derek is another groomsmen who is another younger brother not by blood although he might as well be, he is such a sweetheart even though half of the time he tries to act tough. Michael and I have always thought of Derek as a brother and so has Jared since we've been together for so long now. Our four groomsmen is Jared's friend Erik from work who is so nice and funny and also engaged to the lovely Jullianne. Every time we hang out with them it's always way to much laughing involved which is the best part about them.

So there's our group of our wonderful friends that will help us celebrate are special day!! Which in my honest opinion is much to far away
